Bathroom and Kitchen Reno for Jarrah Construction
Jarrah Construction is one of the Bay’s leading construction companies, working in both the residential and commercial markets. They have extensive experience in residential new build and renovation projects. MD Plumbing works regularly with Jarrah Construction, most often on renovations.
Repiping most cost-effective option
One recent project included a total bathroom and kitchen refit. This involved gutting both rooms and starting from scratch. “Because of the age of the house, repiping of both the kitchen and bathroom was necessary,” explains Mike Duke. “That means all the cold and hot water pipes were removed and replaced. It’s a huge plumbing project that many homeowners may be reluctant to undertake during a reno. But we believe in doing things properly. Doing all repiping all at once is often the most sensible, most cost-effective option”.
Plumbers of choice for renovations
All-important sewer lines were redone, and the hot water unit replaced. A sand wear filter was installed to optimise water quality. New fixtures and fittings included stylish tapware lending a touch of class.
“In the construction business, you need a plumbing service you can count on,” says Darrin Archer of Jarrah Construction. “It can be a nightmare to get people when you want them, where you want them. MD Plumbing are my plumbers of choice. I’ve worked with them for several years. We use them for renovations… shower replacements and so on. They’re prompt, efficient and get things done quickly for us. Plus, they’re good guys to work with. As always, they did a top-notch job on this renovation”.
